Memorial gifts

A memorial gift honors and preserves the memory of a loved one through a gift to Appalachian. If the gift is used to establish an endowment, the investment earnings will be generated indefinitely to honor your family name or the name of the person you are recognizing. Learn more

Tax information

Your gift to Appalachian is tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. You will receive a printed receipt for your gift, soon after your gift is received. *

The Appalachian State University Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit IRC Sec. 501(c)(3) organization that is structurally separate from Appalachian State University and exists solely for Appalachian State University’s benefit, serving as the preferred channel for private gifts to all areas of the university.
